IN SHORT

As a long-time nature lover, I  have been captivated by the animals surrounding me since an early age.

It has always been a pleasure to discover the Belgian countryside searching for birds and wild mammals. I started to photograph water birds when I was very young. Later on, I turned my focus to mammals such as foxes, roe deer or red deer.

Today, I’m covering thousands of miles through different continents; spending hours waiting for the right moment, the right light, and the right encounter. I love taking pictures in Eastern countries, Scandinavia or the Belgian Ardennes. More than ever in symbiosis with the environment, I became a wildlife photographer in 2016. In my view, photographing is more than a job; it is a way of life, a passion.

PHOTOGRAPHIC PROCESS

Through my photography, I want to create emotion.  I try to render Nature’s beauty by showing an aesthetic aspect of the biodiversity. Lighting effects are a growing part of my work; I am looking for them without weariness. They guide my images, through their presence or their absence. The environment also plays a great role: attempting to put an animal in a fairy tale setting is part of my photographic process.

I’m very lucky to be able to exhibit my photographs. Here is a selection of some of the exhibitions I participated in :
